What do the top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common? So here they are in descending order, from the 1st through 10th most impoverished cities in the U.S. and their Mayoral histories:
1. Detroit, MI (longtime 1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961;
2. Buffalo, NY – Hasn’t elected one since 1954;
3. Cincinnati, OH … Not since 1984;
4. Cleveland, OH … Not since 1989;
5. Miami, FL … Has never had a Republican mayor;
6. St. Louis, MO…. Not since 1949;
7. El Paso, TX … Has never had a Republican mayor;
8. Milwaukee, WI … Not since 1908;
9. Philadelphia, PA … Not since 1952;
10. Newark, NJ … Not since 1907.

It is the disadvantaged who elect Democrats, over and over and over again, yet are still disadvantaged. These are the same people that will vote for Obama in November. Go figure??
Yes, poor people have been voting for Democrats for 50 years, yet they are still poor.
